Two Projects Completes

I managed to complete 2 of my projects last night. My friend's 30th is coming up and I've done a hat and wrist warmers as a present. I hope she likes them. I'm now onto my secret santa which needs posting. I've decided to go for the old slippers this time!! Pics of the pressies are attached.

Redoing the Crafty Thing

I have had a few hectic months, but I'm back to crafting again. I've started a Birthday present for my friend. Its called Snug and is in the Fun & Funky Knitting by Emma King. I'm also going to do the Fuchsia hat in the same colours. I'll post pics once I've managed to finish them.

Have seen a great pattern for a musical friend!!

Today I decided to try the FlyLady challenge to start spring cleaning. I started in the kitchen:

Cleaned the work surfaces
Wiped all appliances
Cleaned and tidied the cupboards
Cleared out out of date food
Cleaned floor

I still have over half a blanket to knit and the baby is due next week!! I'll have to get moving. I'm aiming for 3 squares a day while I'm on annual leave. I still have to do an essay on asthma but I won't worry too much about that until the weekend.

A New Day

I thought that I'd start a new blog. More of a crafty one.

I'm working on a blanket for a baby, using the book 'Blankets and Throws to Knit'. I'm on row 4 of 9. So a long way to go.

My plans are to knit/craft as many presents as I can this year. So far I want to knit:

Blanket for Gem for 30th Birthday
Lilac/Purple Blanket for H's Christmas present
Ipod/Mobile Phone Covers (I have a lovely pattern for this)
Some fingerless gloves for Ronni for Christmas
